Euro-Team Rehab
...offering positive results for children with disabilities
View Photos

Euro-Team Therapy is an intensive physical therapy approach to treating children with disabilities.  Sessions include two, three, and four weeks of therpapy aimed at specific motor strengthening with the use of a soft dynamic proprioceptive orthosis known as the TheraSuit.  Additional tools utilized include the Universal Exercise Unit, pulleys, bungee cords, and strength training equipment.  Team Rehab began offering Euro-Team therapy in the spring of 2003 in its state-of-the-art wellness and rehabilitation center.  The therapy sessions make use of Team Rehab's therapeutic pool, gym, treadmills, and a variety of handicap-accessible Cybex equipment.

The TheraSuit was created by Izabela and Richard Koscielny in 2002 as a holistic approach to treatment for children afflicted with any number of neurological disorders.  This suit helps align the body as close to normal as possible and helps reestablish correct postural alignment that plays a crucial role in normalizing muscle tone, sensory and vestibular function.  The TheraSuit is registered with the FDA and meets all requirements and regulations.  It has been safely and effectively used by therapists as well as parents for the past 6 years.  For more information please visit the TheraSuit LLC website listed below under helpful links.

IS YOUR CHILD ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM?

Children must get medical clearance in the form of a written physician's order to attend and participate in an intensive program. X-rays of your child's hips are required within 6 months prior to starting the program to assess hip stability. Because of the high level of therapy that is completed, please review the following precautions:
